How can labels and categories affect how we practice science or imagine the future?
From the ancient tracking of the stars and Sci-Fi futures, to women scientists and famous computer pioneers explore the spectrum of identities that exist across time, place and culture at the Whipple History of Science Museum.
Our volunteer guides share their personal selection of fascinating stories about gender and sexual identity through a range of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-related objects.
Please meet your guide approx. 5-10 mins at the information desk near the Museum entrance.
Tours will last approximately 40mins and are led by a volunteer guide.
Please note that the tours will involve walking around the Museum for the duration.
Tours are aimed at an adult audience. However children and teenagers are very welcome to attend with adults.
