Arts Award

Get inspired by museums through Arts Award and earn a qualification along the way. Arts Award is a national qualification for young people between the ages of 7 and 25. It introduces a range of art forms through a broad programme of cultural activities and experiences. Find out how we can support your Arts Award


Love art? Circuit is a group of 18-25 year olds who plan creative events and workshops in collaboration with Kettle’s Yard and Wysing Arts Centre.


ReSource is a monthly art group for young people ages 13-18 in the Fitzwilliam Museum art studio. Work on exciting projects with a different guest artist each month. 

Young Zoologists Club

A must for animal-lovers. The Museum of Zoology’s Zoology Club is for 13-18 year olds interested in animals and the science of zoology. Join for events, workshops, talks and scientific debates put on specially for club members, as well as a free newsletter. 


Preparing for your GCSE or AS/A Level Art and Design exams? Get exam support from the Fitzwilliam Museum and other University of Cambridge Museums every spring term. You’ll benefit from one-to-one advice from artists and Museum educators, gallery tours, online resources and art materials in the studio. 

Museum Experience Days

Are you aged 13-18 and interested in a career in museums? Join a one-day taster event to find out about the variety of jobs available through museums through a variety of interactive activities, tours and talks. We run three Museum Experience Days throughout the year in the school holidays. Check our What’s On for upcoming events.
