Cambridge Junction, Clifton Way, Cambridge, CB1 7GX

If you feel like you’re slowing down and would like to become more active, this is the programme for you.

Each Museum Boost session explores a story from one of the eight University of Cambridge Museums or the Botanic Garden. These stories provide the inspiration for creative dance and movement.

Led by dance for health artist Filipa Pereira-Stubbs, sessions combine chair-based and standing movement. Everybody’s body is different, and you will be supported to take part at a level that feels right for you.

There is also time to enjoy the museum objects, meet other people and share refreshments.

Companions are very welcome.

The sessions run on selected Fridays from 2pm to 3.30pm at the Cambridge Junction:

  • Friday 9 October
  • Friday 23 October
  • Friday 13 November
  • Friday 20 November
  • Friday 4 December
  • Friday 18 December

Blue Badge parking is available at Cambridge Junction.

Museum Boost is being developed in collaboration with Cambridge City Council’s Independent Living Service.
