The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey, Ely Road, Waterbeach, Cambridge, CB25 9PQ

Who

The Farmland Museum and Denny Abbey are running a different theme each week of the Summer Holidays. This week is Victorian week which allows visitors to have a go at an authentic Victorian wash-day and learn the skill of rag-rugging.

Wash-day demonstrations will be at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm and are free to take part, so come along and try your hand!

There will also be Victorian themed crafts on offer throughout the day. Crafts include the opportunity to make your own Zoetrope – a Victorian toy. Craft activities are free, but donations to the museum are appreciated to cover the cost of materials.

The summer holiday activities run on Thursday and Friday each week. The museum is open 10am to 4pm.
