Join us in St Peter’s Churchyard for free, practical art making activities. Be inspired by Kettle’s Yard and make your own artworks. Pick up one of our family art activity packs and get creative with our artists. You can collect your materials to make outside at Kettle’s Yard or take them home with you.

This activity is free and for families with children of all ages. Activities are for all but most suitable for children between 3 and 11 years.

No previous art experience is necessary just have fun!

A fun-filled workshop for parents and children where you can dance, move, act out the story, and make nature bracelets.

The Botanic Garden has a moth trap - a box with a special light that attracts and traps moths during the night.

Join experts at the Garden as they look inside the trap to see what has been caught. In addition to learning more about these creatures, you'll also get the chance to hold the moths and release them back into the wild.

Bronze Arts Award in a week: Arts & Nature

Are you interested in the natural world and how it inspires artists? Do nature and creativity make you feel good?

Work with artists and museum staff to be creative in a variety of media, and collaborate with others to share skills to achieve a Bronze Arts Award in our pop-up studio on the Fitzwilliam Museum front lawn.

This 4 day course for 11-14 year olds runs Tues-Fri 10.15-15.00 each day at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
