From Dig to Dish: Explore food through the ages. What did people in the past eat? How did they cook it? What did it smell like? Join us to unearth some ancient recipes and enjoy some food-themed fun for all the family.
Herbarium sheets are made up of dried and labelled plant material and are used by botanists to keep a record of plants they have found and so scientists can study them. Join us at this session where you can find out more about the herbarium sheets at the University of Cambridge and have a go at making one yourself.
The Kettle’s Yard collection includes many plants as well as dried grasses and seed pods. What kind of plant comes from what kind of seed? Find out in this fun, creative workshop.

In Spring the world comes back to life, so join us to explore stories of resurrection and rebirth at our relaxed afternoon of holiday activities. Dive into the ancient world with miraculous myths from ancient Greece and Rome, get arty by re-enacting the most shocking stories with paper puppets you can take home with you, or welcome the Spring with some flowery crafting.
