Using specially designed equipment, people of all ages can brush up their footwork and learn the skills of a medieval knight – but who will be the ultimate champion?

Knight training sessions held hourly throughout the day and booking is via a sign-up sheet on the day on arrival at the museum, with up to 30 spaces on each session.

Ages 6+

Develop your mosaic skills by learning how to create intricate designs for a clay bowl, which you will make during the session.

Ages 7+

Each table must have at least one accompanying adult who can make their own mosaic.

Enjoy a range of tactile river-themed art activities on your own activity mat.

Ages 1-5 (but all ages welcome)

Each mat must have one accompanying adult.

Limited places - online booking essential.

Drop-in and work together to make a large time machine in the museum garden. Make your own control panel to use with it and to take home with you.

Join the team at Ely Museum this summer for a fun bookable workshop where you can craft your own cap. Inspired by the Museum's temporary exhibition ‘Hold On To Your Hats’, make and design two fantastic hats to take home.

Drop-in to Huntingdon Town Hall to discover what was medicine like during the 17th century. Meet a barber-surgeon, discover how illnesses and injuries were treated during the civil wars, and try your hand at making your own herbal remedy.
