Mas Camp is a place where mas costumes are assembled for carnival celebrations. Mas is an abbreviation of the word masquerade. Come along to our Mas Camp and join in the workshop to get ready for the carnival and procession on 8 June 2019.

Travel back 580 million years and make your own sun catcher inspired by some of the earliest forms of life on our planet. Once you have made your sun catcher have a look at the beautiful examples of Ediacaran fossils in our new temporary display.

Storyteller Marion Leeper tells adventure stories inspired by the drawings of Charles Darwin’s children.

There are limited spaces to keep the museums from feeling too overwhelming & a ‘chill-out’ space will be available if a time out is needed. We will turn off any sounds & will control the lighting as best we can.
