Join curator Richard Kelleher on an exclusive tour of Defaced! Money, Power, Conflict, where you will explore some of the objects and artists that have told stories of political struggles, justice, and protest for the last 200 years.
Clive Oppenheimer, Professor of Volcanology and contributor to True to Nature, will share his exploration of volcanoes around the world and give us insights into how far volcanologists have come in understanding how volcanoes work, and how their eruptions have acted to change history.

With the link between Dinosaurs and birds now firmly established, work to uncover how and when modern bird diversity arose is well underway. Assistant Professor Daniel Field, Department of Earth Sciences, University of Cambridge and Strickland Curator of Ornithology, University Museum of Zoology will discuss some of the exciting new discoveries he and his research group have made including finding one of the best preserved fossil bird skulls in the world.
