Through these artworks, he explores the social, cultural and political constructions of race.

Explore the Wisbech and Fenland Museum's latest exhibition, Beasts: Epic creatures real and imagined, and discover some of the strange and curious creatures that lurk within the Museum's eclectic collections.
With free crafts and activities, as well as the opportunity to meet Inferno, the smoke-breathing dragon, this is a day not to be missed.
Admission to the Museum will be free during this event.
This will be a creative session, with inspiration taken from picture books, poetry, and cultural and scientific ideas of creation with a focus on light and darkness. There will be a chance to celebrate your favourite things about light and darkness, the animals and plants that thrive in both conditions, and to learn how different cultures view them. Maybe you’d like to create an art piece about the Big Bang, or help to create a banner that celebrates our world and everything in it? We will have paints, pastels, paper, and more materials for you to explore your creativity with.
Explore the museum when it is closed to the public! Ely Museum is having a special summer opening just for children with sensory sensitivities along with their families.
All of the exhibits and activities will be available as usual, however the sounds are reduced, muted or subtitled throughout the building. There is also a quiet room with chairs, a sensory tent to relax in and some sensory toys.
Drop-in anytime between 10.30am to 1pm.
