Event information
Great St Mary's, The University Church, Senate House Hill, CB2 3PQ
Drop-in at any time during the session.
Drop in for nature-themed craft activities. Learn about the life cycle of bees, butterflies, and swallows, and the importance of encouraging biodiversity. Use your imagination to create art with pastels, pencils, and stencils.
You are also invited to explore the recently replanted churchyard garden, and see what’s blooming and what pollinators, insects, and birds you can spot. There will be art materials for you to sketch what you see.
This event is most suitable for children of primary school age, but we will have a play mat for younger children and the open-ended nature of the activities/materials means that older children/teens are welcome to come along.
This event is part of Summer at the Museums 2026.
