Secondary and sixth form art teachers, join artist Anna Brownsted in this teacher CPD to play games of chance, explore creative cause and effects and experiment with different creative starting points, inspired by ideas within the Making New Worlds: Li Yuan-chia & Friends exhibition at Kettle’s Yard.
Starting with an after-hours exploration of key works in the exhibition, teachers will discover a range of artforms, conceptual ideas and contemporary practices. Extending on this, Brownsted will then lead a range of practical activities and working processes that can be adapted and used in the classroom.
It is an opportunity, at the beginning of the calendar year, to be inspired, gain new skills and generate different starting points for art making.
