Pop in for a day of crafts and activities as we explore the wonders of the world’s oceans. We are delighted to be joined by wildlife artist Alicia Hayden, who will be with us all day in the Whale Hall creating a piece of artwork with an oceans theme - add your own sea creature to the artwork on the day, all craft material provided and expert guidance given!
This artwork will then be on public display in the Whale Hall over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
In the galleries you will be able to handle real corals, seashells and even the ear bone of a whale! Plus follow our Under The Sea trail, or find the actual sea creatures featured in the Grand Arcade paper sculpture trail.
All activities FREE, no need to book.
This event is part of Summer at the Museums 2026.
