Zoology Live! is running on two nights  - on Tuesday 21 June at 7pm, we will be livestreaming from the Museum, and Wednesday 22 June, we will be at the Botanic Garden. Hope you can join us on both nights!

Get your questions ready! You will have the chance to put your questions LIVE to our experts. We'll be talking to experts on butterflies and Australian mammals - plus lots of activities and mini films to watch. This is a FREE online event for the whole family.

Visit the Museum of Zoology after hours for animal-themed board games. The Museum Shop will be open throughout the event, and the Whale Café will be serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to purchase. Join the Museum for candlelight storytelling, explore the darkened museum with torches, hunt for hidden night-time creatures, and create a puppet for your own storytelling.

Take a tour round St Ives as it gets dark and see the town in a different light. Learn about some of the darker things that may - or may not -have gone on in the past…

Pianist, composer and technologist Zubin Kanga has for some years been working with world-leading technology researchers to create the Cyborg Soloists project. A multimedia extravaganza, this unmissable season finale will incorporate roller-coaster visuals with themes ranging from the cult of Celtic river goddesses to the simplicity of wind in the trees.

With the link between Dinosaurs and birds now firmly established, work to uncover how and when modern bird diversity arose is well underway. Assistant Professor Daniel Field, Department of Earth Sciences, University of Cambridge and Strickland Curator of Ornithology, University Museum of Zoology will discuss some of the exciting new discoveries he and his research group have made including finding one of the best preserved fossil bird skulls in the world.
