Join us for a relaxed and friendly evening of sketching amongst our awesome sculptures. You’ll be welcomed with a glass of wine and our expert instructors will offer you guidance to build your confidence and skills.

Join artist Dr Rona Lee for a tour of the installation Lithic Entanglements, followed by a conversation exploring the ideas that have informed this fresh and bold intervention within the Museum's displays - reflecting on the ways in which collections such as those in the Sedgwick Museum evidence not only our knowledge about the Earth but also a set of relationships to it. 
 

Dress up and experience the romantic art movement in an evening of art, music, performance, workshops and talks inspired by the conflicting poetics of William Blake.

Join us live on YouTube as we explore our urban wildlife in winter with fun facts from our collections, wildlife videos, and creations from the Young Zoologists Club. Then get your questions ready to ask our scientist, Dr Daniel Field, Curator of Ornithology here at the Museum, who will be on hand to answer all your winter birdlife queries.

To coincide with late night shopping, drop into our late opening. Discover a magical world of tiny fossils which can only be seen with a microscope, and use them as inspiration to make festive decorations to take home. Pop into our shop to pick up some last minute presents, and enjoy live festive music from a local choir.
