Learn how to tackle weeds in your garden in the most time efficient and productive way. Attendees will be introduced to some common garden weeds, their life cycle, method of spreading, and the best approach to dealing with them. The workshop will cover different tools and techniques, as well as many useful tips including how to pick the best day for weeding.

Andrea is a Senior Horticulturalist looking after the Eastern Displays at Cambridge University Botanic Garden. She has over ten years of horticultural experience gained in a variety of settings and has trained with the RHS and Kew Gardens.

John Kapor has been at the Botanic Garden for 41 years and now works on the eastern display areas. He started off as a trainee then spent some time in the woodland section before going into glass, and then worked on the systematic beds for over 20 years. John likes the variety of the eastern display and enjoys maintaining the beds to a high standard.
