Who

Visit the Museum to see our amazing nature inspired ceramics created by local primary school children. We have been working across the winter with three local primary schools and a ceramic artist, Louise Beale. As part of The Wild Escape project from The Art Fund, we asked children from three local schools to create a clay sculpture related to British wildlife - the results are now all on display in the Museum. Each carefully crafted sculpture has it's own conservation message, devised and drawn onto flags by the children.

We hope that you love the display as much as we do and feel inspired to make your own pledge for nature!

The schools that we have worked with on this project are:Lionel Walden Primary in Doddington, Nelson Academy in Downham Market and Grove Primary in Cambridge. This project is part of the Wild Escape. The Wild Escape is made possible by lead support from Arts Council England's National Lottery Project Grants, with addition support from Art Fund.

The display is on now in the Whale Hall and on the mezzanine case in the Museum.
