Following a masterclass in January 2019 with Margaret Faultless, Head of Performance at the University of Cambridge Faculty of Music, one student ensemble will be selected to perform our final concert of the term.

About Milan Siljanov

A Samling Artist, Milan Siljanov studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (Opera Course) under the tutelage of Prof Rudolf Piernay. He is the winner of the prestigious Wigmore Hall/Kohn Foundation International Song Competition in London in 2015.

About Anne Boyer

A poet and essayist, Anne Boyer’s  honors include the 2018 Cy Twombly Award for Poetry from the Foundation for Contemporary Art, a 2018 Whiting Award in nonfiction and poetry, and the 2016 CLMP award for her 2015 book of poetry, Garments Against Women. Her most recent work, a collection of essays, fables and ephemera, is called A Handbook of Disappointed Fate, and her memoir about cancer and care,The Undying, is forthcoming from Penguin UK in 2019. She is the 2018-2019 Judith E.

About Sophie Westbrooke

Sophie is in her second year reading Music at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. She has been studying the recorder with Anna Stegmann at the Royal Academy of Music in London as part of the CAMRAM scheme. She also currently holds an instrumental award on the violin.
