Event information
If you're a fan of the 'Polar Postcards' we share on social media, or perhaps the stunning landscapes on display in Polar Panoramas, this might just be the event for you!
Using recycled postcards and coloured card, we'll show you how to create your own torn paper landscapes to take home.
We'll start with a 15-minute introduction to the method, accompanied by some inspriation images from our archival paintings and photographs. You'll then have 45 minutes to create as many postcards as you wish!
All materials will be provided - please reserve your space in advance.
This event is open to all ages, however children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

There is step free access to the building and the museum is on one level. The story is in the Lecture Theatre, where there are four steps down. There is a row at the back for step-free seating options and space for wheelchair users along the rear wall. Please reach out to discuss alternate options.
