Around 3,000 medicinal and aromatic plants are traded internationally, with the majority (60-90%) harvested directly from the wild. Most wild plants are harvested and traded with little consideration for sustainability or whether local harvesters are fairly paid or treated with dignity and respect for the products they produce.

As part of the Cambridge Festival, we will be highlighting plants that are harvested from the wild to make every day products.

Come and find our pop up in the Glasshouse Range during the Festival (31 March to 10 April) and discover which of your favourite products contain wild plant ingredients. Find out about the ‘Wild Dozen’ – those plants most at risk of over-harvesting, known as the Wild Dozen.

Hear more about FairWild certification which allows you to know that your favourite products are being made with ingredients that were harvested ethically and fairly.

In collaboration with TRAFFIC and the FairWild Foundation
