About Sara Caputo
Dr Sara Caputo is a specialist in maritime and eighteenth and nineteenth century history with a number of published works. Her latest book, Tracks on the Ocean, uncovers a hidden history of the modern world through the trails left on maps and seas. Spanning from ancient Greek itineraries to 21st-century digital mapping, Caputo reveals how these marks have shaped the course of modernity.
